IMPORTANT PARENT INFORMATION

1.     VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

A.    Please note that if you have not filled out the volunteer information sheet and completed the fingerprint clearance process, you will not be permitted to volunteer with your child. Fingerprint screening is required by law. A Level II clearance or clearance per the Jessica Lunsford Act must be completed. This process can take up to 2 weeks, so please plan accordingly. Please complete and return the attached volunteer form (even if you have previously done so).

            B. Parent volunteer hours will be entered both online and via paper sign-in

            on the day of the event. The online link to log your hours is

2.     SCHOOL LUNCHES

A.    We will no longer be accepting payment for lunches. All lunch money will be paid into an account with Pinellas County Schools. Please visit https://www.myschoolbucks.com to create your child’s account. Please ensure that you add ample money into the account. ***IF YOUR ACCOUNT HAS A ZERO BALANCE, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE LUNCH FOR YOUR CHILD***

B.     Please activate your account prior to the first day of school.

C.     Free and reduced lunches- please visit www.MySchoolApps.com to fill out your application for meal benefits.

3.     FOCUS

A.    We will no longer be using Engrade. All grades and report cards will be available using the Pinellas County Focus account.

B.     You will be issued a parent login (p.account) and will need to create your Focus account. In order to receive a Focus account, you will need to provide the front office with the following information ASAP:

Name

Color copy of driver’s license with number and expiration

Email address

Child’s name

You will receive an email with your login information within the first several weeks of school.
